Kickin' Chicken
Easy to prepare, chicken drumsticks with a rich, spicy flavor.
- 8 - 10 chicken legs
- 1 onion
- 1/4 cup Marsala cooking wine
- Adams Reserve Kicked Up Chicken Rub *
- Olive Oil
- Flour
- 1 can chicken broth
Chop onion and saute in 1/4" of olive oil until tender. Remove from pan and set aside.
Moisten chicken pieces with water and coat very well with seasoning and then dredge in flour.
Lightly brown chicken pieces in the olive oil.
Pour off excess oil and add cooking wine, chicken broth and onions to chicken. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until done, approximately 30 minutes.
The liquid will thicken and make a nice gravy base for rice or potatoes.
* If you cannot find this same seasoning I have listed the ingredients below so you can find one that is very similar.
~Sea salt, onion flakes, chile pepper flakes, garlic, sweet pepper, orange peel, rosemary, sugar, sage, black pepper, extract of paprika and thyme.~
